Star Wars: The Mandalorian Watch Order (2019-Present)
Starting in 2019, Disney released a series of interconnected Star Wars shows that take place after
the original trilogy, when the galaxy is ruled by the New Republic. These stories show how living in
the New Republic works and currently center on Din Djarin and the Force-sensitive Grogu. This order will be
updated as more shows are released. A prior knowledge of Star Wars, primarily about Mandalore and Boba Fett,
will help contextualize and add extra depth to the saga, but it is enjoyable without it.

- The Mandalorian Seasons 1-2 (2019-2020)
- The Book of Boba Fett Season 1 (2021)
- This set of Star Wars shows starts with Din finding Grogu in The Mandalorian. Boba Fett is then
reintroduced in Mandalorian before getting his own spin-off miniseries. However, Book of Boba Fett
also features plot points that are crucial to Din's story, making it more of a Boba Fett-focused
Mandalorian Season 2.5.
- The Mandalorian Season 3 (2023)
- This season picks up where Book of Boba Fett left off for Din and Grogu.
- Ahsoka Season 1 (2023)
- Really a sequel to the Rebels series, Ahsoka follows the titular character and the remaining cast of
Rebels as they try to stop Thrawn. While taking place definitively after Mando Season 3, this series
will make little sense if you don't know anything about Rebels, although it does its best to reintroduce its
returning characters. Only time will tell how important it is to the ongoing Mando/New Republic saga.
